Commercial Sales Manager - Northeast Region

Role Summary

SolarComtech is seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead our expansion in the Northeast region. You will be responsible for driving the entire sales cycle for our commercial solar, BESS, and smart grid solutions, from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve regional revenue targets for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for solar PV, battery storage, and energy management software.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., facility managers, CFOs, sustainability officers).
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, financial models (ROI, PPA), and technical presentations to prospective clients.
  • Represent SolarComtech at industry events, trade shows, and conferences in the Northeast region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on the commercial solar or energy storage market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial energy tariffs, incentives (e.g., ITC, state SRECs), and financing structures (PPA, lease).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
